History: Archaeological evidence suggests that the medicinal use of Peppermint dates back at least 10,000 years. Considered by botanists to be a hybrid of wintermint and spearmint, dried Peppermint leaves have been found inside ancient Egyptian tombs. Both the Romans and Greeks used Peppermint to flavor sauces and wines. However, although Peppermint is now one of the most widely recognized flavors in the world, commercial cultivation of Peppermint only began in the late 18th century.
Perfect for use with our Ceramic Oil Burners as well. These oils are sold for aromatherapy purposes only.
