Phalaris Grass (Phalaris arundinacea) is a perennial grass, native to the northern parts of Europe, Asia, and North America. It’s an interesting addition to any Shaman’s Garden, and although it can be expensive to cover large areas, it makes for an incredible thick lawn, especially in small spaces. Phalaris Grass Seeds make a vibrant grass.
It grows best on moist, sandy soil, dislikes intense heat, but can never get enough sunlight. It can grow over 6 feet tall if left to its own devices and this grass (also known as Canary Reed Grass or Sleepy Grass) seeds profusely. This seed comes from a wholesaler specializing in wetlands reclamation so these seeds were not developed for forage through genetic manipulation or irradiation, leaving the original seed strain completely intact.
WARNING: This grass is as common as any lawn grass, it grows abundantly in the wild to the point of being an invasive, and although it’s completely legal to posses and to grow, it is not for human consumption.
